With the testo 510 differential pressure measuring instrument, heating installers and air conditioning engineers will be well-equipped to carry out their work: the instrument measures differential pressure from 0 to 100 hPa and can help you check filters on air conditioning systems or measure static gas and gas flow pressure on heating systems, for example.

The testo 511 is normally used to measure absolute pressure, e.g. for density compensation in flow measurement in ducts, laboratories and production processes. Other measurement parameters are barometric air pressure (= air pressure at sea level) and altitude above sea level.Advantages of the testo 511 absolute pressure meterThe testo 511 absolute pressure meter is very handy, small and easy to use. It measures the absolute pressure with an accuracy of +/-3 hPa and is ideal for absolute pressure compensation in flow measurements. This is then converted to barometric air pressure by entering the on-site altitude above sea level. You can also use the measuring instrument to measure barometric altitude between two points.

 

The testo 512 with a measuring range from 0…2 hPa can be used to help you carry out quick and easy filter checks when performing differential pressure checks on ventilation and air conditioning systems. Differential pressure measurements are carried out to determine whether filters still work properly or whether they are used up and clogged and need to be replaced.

The differential pressure meter is ideal for carrying out pitot static tube measurements in air ducts at very high air flow speeds or when the air stream is strongly polluted. The compact, rugged meter shows both the pressure as well as the air flow speed and has a measuring range from 2 to 17,5 m/s.

The damper for adjustable averaging can be programmed individually while the density compensation is already integrated.

The pitot static tube that you will need to carry out your air flow measurements can be ordered together with your differential pressure meter. Choose from one of three models to select the model that is best suited to your individual requirements. The pitot static tube is inserted into the air duct where it measures the air flow quickly and reliably.

The testo 512 displays the pressure and the air flow speed simultaneously. You can choose between two different units of measurement - m/s and fpm - to indicate the air flow speed and from eight different units - psi, kPa, hPa, Pa, mm H2O, mmHg, inch H2O and inch Hg - to measure the pressure.

The differential pressure transmitter testo 6351 was developed specially for monitoring differential pressure in the measuring range from 50 Pa to 2000 hPa. In cleanroom technology, the maintenance of positive pressure prevents the entry of contaminated air. In addition to this, the flow velocity or the volume flow can be calculated from the measurement of the differential pressure in a Pitot tube.
The testo 6351 is particularly outstanding thanks to the automatic zero-point adjustment which ensures high accuracy and long-term stability.
