The TMA10A Anemometer with Flexible Precision Vane is ideal for HVAC/R technicians measuring heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, wind flow and temperature in residential, commercial and industrial air conditioning systems. It offers numerous functions—use it to check air velocity FPM (feet per minute), air volume (flow) CFM (Cubic feet per minute) plus the remote vane allows greater measurement location flexibility. Switch between °C and °F. Input the area of airflow measurement to gain accurate air velocity results. Measure an air flow source for a continuous moving average for up to two hours. Determine minimum, maximum and average readings from a single point air source.

It uses a hot‑wire sensor combined with a thermistor to deliver fast and precise measurements even at low speeds. 

The Amprobe TMA40-A provides three measurements in one: air velocity or volume, relative humidity and temperature. With three ways to view your measurement results, choose between single point measurement, multiple points up to 99, or the added feature of data logging up to 2400 data points. User sets the measurement interval time from 1 to 200 seconds. The TMA40-A has a flexible cord to position vane where you need to measure. For accurate CFM results, the user simply inputs the area of the air source.

With the extendable telescope (up to 300 mm),testo 405 is particularly suited for measuring the flowvelocity in ducts. Thanks to the attachment included indelivery, the telescope can be optimally positioned in aduct.
